We are committed to recruiting the very best support staff, teachers and leaders to support and nurture our children, families and communities. At the Blue Kite Trust, we believe education transforms lives and all children deserve the best possible chance to fulfil their potential.

We are a growing Trust with big ambitions for our staff and pupils. We always seek to appoint staff who share our vision and values, who have the highest expectations of themselves and others and who are passionate about learning.

Whilst we work collaboratively as one Trust we believe that successful schools develop their own identity individually and are best placed to meet their local community needs.

As an organisation we can offer responsive and supportive leaders, high ambitions for all our staff providing excellent opportunities for professional development and competitive salaries and conditions of employment. We put the welfare of our workforce at the core of everything we do.

The Blue Kite Academy Trust has a generous employment offer to support all employees.

Don’t miss your chance to join the Blue Kite team for a role that suits you. If you can’t find a suitable vacancy right now don’t worry. As a growing organisation new opportunities will be available in the near future.

We are dedicated to the safeguarding of all children and young people whilst promoting their welfare and expect all staff and volunteers to share this. Any offer of employment will be subject to the receipt of a satisfactory DBS Enhanced Disclosure and satisfactory pre-employment checks.

Teamwork and Collaboration

We currently have 13 schools in our Trust and as Leaders, we believe in collaboration and working together. We offer School to School support, with specialists sharing their knowledge and best practice, offering opportunities for staff to gain experience working across different settings. We recently had a Trust wide away day, which was a valuable opportunity for all our staff to hear keynote speeches, network, collaborate and receive bespoke training suited to their roles.

Train to Teach – Initial Teacher Training

Blue Kite offers the opportunity for trainees to train to become a primary school teacher at Inspire Professional Development, through our Initial Teacher Training programme in partnership with Ambition Institute and Liverpool Hope University. We offer a tailored and ‘on the job’ route into teaching, where trainees receive ongoing training and support from outstanding, experienced professionals. Our ITT curriculum provides our trainees with theory, subject knowledge and invaluable classroom practice, to support them in becoming competent and confident teachers.

We award places on the School Direct (PGCE and QTS) route into teaching. We recruit trainees in the primary phase from 5-11 years.

Early Career Teachers

Inspire Professional Development has partnered with The Swindon and Wiltshire Teaching School Hub and Ambition Institute (an accredited lead provider) to deliver The Early Career Framework to both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Early Career Mentors (ECMs). The Early Career Framework is a new two-year entitlement of professional development to help early career teachers build on their high-quality Initial Teacher Training and continue to develop their classroom practice and subject knowledge. Producing Oustanding Teachers To Shape The Minds Of Young People

Inspire Professional Development is part of The Blue Kite Academy Trust. We believe that great schools cannot exist without great teachers, and that great teachers can continue to get better.

At Inspire, we provide the Department for Education's 'golden thread' of quality training and continuous professional development. The Golden Thread is a key strategy of the DfE and as such has evidence informed, research based professional development programmes that are designed for each stage of a teacher's career. This starts with the Core Content Framework for Initial Teacher Training, to the Early Career Framework which provides a two-year induction for Early Career Teachers, to the specialist and leadership National Professional Qualifications. We are able to support professionals in the education industry at every stage of their career.
